Absence from 3+ classes in one semester will result in an NA, and you will not be allowed to take the test.
If you are unable to attend, send an e-mail, and also ask the ombuds to communicate the reason for your absence.

If you don’t pass the course, there is a retake exam in August, which will be completely equal to the final exam (albeit a different text).
